Writing for publication is another skill that I have been trying to develop. Again, the focus of my efforts has revolved mainly around language education, with some of my more recent work dealing with instructional design and what I have been studying in the Instructional Systems Technology program at Indiana University. My list of publications includes writing on topics as varied as peace education and change management. I have also written about language learning motivation and other affective variables. One area that I am focusing more energy on is teacher training.

One of the goals of my writing endeavors is to share my classroom experience and raise the level of professsionalism in our field. I believe my writing is straightforward and persuasive, but also that there is room for improvement. The skill I plan to polish most is organization and delivery.
